- Wash your hands: Before you start using a nasal syringe on your baby, make sure you wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
- Tilt the baby's head: Lay your baby on his or her back and gently tilt the head back. You can use a pillow or towel to support your baby's head.
- Gently insert the nasal syringe: Insert the end of the nasal syringe into the baby's nostril, being careful not to insert the syringe too deeply. Repeat on the other side: Repeat on the other side of the baby's nose.
- Clean the nasal syringe: After using the nasal syringe, wash it thoroughly with soap and water, then rinse it with clean water. Let the syringe dry completely before storing.
