Discover our multi-distance reading glasses, the ideal solution for presbyopia. Thanks to their tapered lenses, they offer clear vision for reading (near vision) and computer use (intermediate vision), for optimum visual comfortwithout effort.

With the onset of presbyopia, traditional reading glasses become a valuable aid, but they quickly show their limits in our multitasking environment. Do you have to take them off to look at your computer or lower them on your nose to talk to someone? Multi-distance reading glasses are the innovative solution to end this visual juggling. Thanks to their degressive lenses, they offer clear and continuous vision from near vision to intermediate vision, allowing you to switch from your book to your screen effortlessly and without changing glasses.
Our proximity glasses, also known as depth-of-field glasses, are designed to simplify your daily life:
Choosing Horizane's multi-distance reading glasses means opting for clear and dynamic vision for all your close-up activities.
Q: What is the difference from traditional reading glasses?
A: A traditional reading glass has a single correction across the entire lens surface, optimized for near vision (about 30–40 cm). Our multi-distance reading glasses have degressive lenses that cover both near vision and intermediate vision (up to about 1 meter), like a computer screen.
Q: How do I choose my correction (diopter)?
A: It's very simple: choose the same diopter as your usual reading glasses. The required correction for near vision will automatically determine the degressive power across the rest of the lens.
Q: Is there an adaptation period?
A: As with all variable power lenses, a short adaptation period may be necessary, but it is usually very quick. You just need to learn to slightly move your head to find the sharpest vision zone depending on the distance of the object you're looking at.
Q: Can I drive with these glasses?
A: No, absolutely not. Multi-distance reading glasses are proximity glasses. They are not designed to correct distance vision and are therefore not suitable or authorized for driving.
